CALL TO BOYCOTT & DIVEST HONEYWELL
Honeywell International Inc., through its manufacturing of the engine and certain navigational, guidance and targeting equipment for the MQ-9 Reaper drone, is deeply complicit in, and profits from, United States drone surveillance and drone attacks that have resulted in the deaths of a total of more than 4,000 children, women and men in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somali and the Philippines.
These killings are war crimes because they violate provisions of international law that require commitment to due process, the protection of life and rights to privacy, freedom of assembly and freedom of association, among other obligations.
Here is a Honeywell video showing the engine for the MQ-9 Reaper drone, also known as the Predator B.[Continue reading]

HONEYWELL’S COTE IS BIG PALS WITH OBAMA
In a 2009 press release, Honeywell International proudly proclaimed that “the USAF’s recent announcement to procure a total of 319 MQ-9 Reaper aircraft will result in additional TPE 331-10 engine orders worth more than $400 million over program life.”
Given the Pentagon’s plan to build 401 Reapers by 2021, it appears that Honeywell will have sold half a billion dollars in engines for the world’s most numerous, and possibly most hated, killer drone. With contracts for guidance and targeting equipment for the Reapers, as well as for training and maintenance contracts, the Reaper-related sales could approach a billion dollars.
While Honeywell might attribute these sales to its “(history of) providing operators with innovative technology for higher performance...
CLIMATE CHANGE AND HONEYWELL
From the perspective of our planet’s people and its environment, perhaps the most fateful choice being made by the U.S. government right now is the choice to use military force to back up major energy companies in gaining control of global fossil fuel deposits.
Tragically for the vast majority of Americans and the world, the executives of energy giants, like ExxonMobil and BP, and military contractors like Honeywell and Lockheed Martin declare “war for resources”, with politicians fronting for them.
An example is the very tight personal and professional relationship between President Barack Obama and David M. Cote, the Chairman and CEO of Honeywell International.
THE REAPER DRONE - THE WORLD'S #1 KILLER DRONE
...AND WHAT IS THE TARANTULA HAWK?
The MQ-9 Reaper is a U.S. remotely controlled, pilotless aircraft commonly known as a drone.
The Reaper drone is the single most numerous, deadliest drone in the world today, attacking in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia and possibly elsewhere.
The Reaper and the smaller Predator drone - hated by those living under them - are responsible for at least 3,000 killings in the countries listed above, but a more accurate figure may be 5,000, if drone killings in Afghanistan are included. http://www.thebureauinvestigates.com/2011/08/10/pakistan-drone-strikes-the-methodology2/
It is impossible to get an accurate count of people killed by the Reaper and Predator because: (1) the drone killings occur in very remote places where there is usually no one to report on the attacks;...
HONEYWELL BOSS SAYS: "WE FOLLOW ALL LAWS"
A report by Nick Mottern – Coordinator of KnowDrones.com, on the response of David M. Cote, Honeywell’s Chair and CEO, to a request that Honeywell stop supplying engines and other components for the MQ-9 Reaper drone and stop selling the Tarantula Hawk drone for military and surveillance use.
On Monday, April 28, I attended the annual shareholders meeting of Honeywell International and read the following:
Good Morning. My name is Nick Mottern, and I am here today to bring information to Honeywell International shareholders that they may not be aware of. Honeywell has laudable ethical standards, which include a stated determination to abide by law, and I think it is fair to say that Honeywell’s reputation and profitability depends to a significant degree on Honeywell living up to its ethical standards. In addition, Honeywell’s reputation and sales benefit from the company’s production of products such as its automobile refrigerant that has a lower global warming potential than carbon dioxide.
